Our new sofas were delivered today, in the usual style... you know, someone agrees to stay in, plans change, then you end up asking the delivery men to ring you half an hour before they arrive so you can get home to let them in.
Well, as darling son was at work and beloved husband was in Great Yarmouth, I had to zip home from Thorpe St Andrew. This would've been okay, but they literally called as I began a review meeting... I probably wasn't the most popular employee in the house!
Still, no more deck chairs, yay! On the way home I collected my two flat-pack diddy tables - with storage underneath - and spent the afternoon making them up and putting the final touches to the room.
We're now fit for habitation... want to come round for coffee?
