A day of ups and downs...

It's been a strange day. The weather has ranged from gale force gusts to bright afternoon sunshine and I seem to have responded in kind... from dental impressions this morning to de-Christmassing the house to feeling sore and sniffly.

Of course, this is common to loads of people in January so it really is a case of keeping on keeping on :) I'm thankful that, despite my own inconsistencies and moods, God never changes. He's faithful on good days and not so good alike... I think that deserves an Alleluia!

3/365 January 3rd  I felt somewhat constrained today, so decided to tackle something in the house. I recently bought some red tealight holders and when I lit them this afternoon I was intrigued by the pattern they cast on the fireplace and wondered if I could capture it on camera. What do you think? Successful or not?
