A retrospecitve post today (so far... perhaps I'll get at least another photo up later on).
I actually planned what I wanted to shoot on Saturday!!! Saturday at 3pm found me, Graham and David in the City Stand at Carrow Road, home of Norwich City Football Club.
If ever you find yourself at a sporting event, just take a look at the press photographers and the size of their lenses - most locations won't allow dSLR cameras in the stands, all to do with flash photography, copyright etc, so I knew I was going to be limited to my compact point and shoot.
Football tends to be fast moving, so timing is a real issue and capturing good shots with a small camera is a real challenge... needless to say I came up wih a lot of pretty ordinary snaps, however, I'll share one with you... see if you can spot the ball?
Sunday has become a difficult day for me. Recent experiences of church have left me feeling very raw and let down and although I WANT to belong and be part of an active worshipping community, I simply haven't found the courage to go visiting. This saddens me terribly because I know I'm called to serve and to be with other Christians... just don't know where right now...
Graham took David to Peterborough to catch his train back to Uni in Tyneside and I stayed home and pottered around.
I decided to use a bunch of flowers to experiment with contrast and light... this is one of the results
